Singer Miley Cyrus has shockingly revealed why she was grateful when her $2.525 million Malibu home, in which she shared with her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, got enguled with fire in 2018.
The American pop singer revealed that instead of dwelling in the misfortune, she rather deemed it a turning point in her life that brought her some level of clarity and gratitude.
According to Miley, the incident significantly symbolized the breakdown of a very essential relationship in her life, which includes her marriage to Hemsworth, but led her to “magic and gratitude”.
“When my house burned down, that was the biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life, actually, “During a Q&A session at her Something Beautiful event on Tuesday, the 32-year-old pop star shared her thoughts, as reported by People.
“Losing everything and being able to rebuild, and to be able to be purposeful and choose every piece that I’m gonna collect or also just about the people in my life”
“And I guess for me, when my house burned down, a lot of my relationships also burned down, and that again just led me to such magic and to have so much gratitude,” she said.

“I think what I would have told my younger self is to appreciate those darker times because, like I said, they are only leading you into the light,” Cyrus remarked while onstage at the Metrograph in Manhattan.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus began dating in 2010 and eventually got married two years later, that’s 2012. However, the union crashed barely after one year.
The couple split in September 2013, but fate brought them together as they reunited in 2016 and tied the knot again in December 2018. Eight months later, they both resolved again that it was not going to work and called the union off for good.
Liam is still happily in a relationship with his girlfriend, Australian model Gabriella Brooks, a romance that has been going strong since 2019.
