Famous UK-based Ugandan model, Eva Apio, has deemed it expedient to set the record straight regarding her alleged involvement in a romantic relationship with Nigerian music superstar, Asake.
The Model, on Sunday, reacted to a viral argument online, suggesting she is dating Asake. The rumour began after the duo were seen in several appearances, including attending events and hanging out in relaxation centres.
Following their multiple outings, an X user sparked a conversation, speculating that they are dating. The user shared their picture and captioned it “Asake and his Girlfriend (Eva Apio).”
The tweet aligns with what other fans of Asake were already suspecting, which made the notion go viral like a wildfire.
Eva Apio, reacting to the post to address the rumour, wrote, “I was never his girlfriend.” Meanwhile, Asake is still mute on the subject.
